| "Hymns Re-Harmonized" was especially created for all the church accompanists...(a.k.a. "unsung heroes")...who play "by the book" rather than "by ear". Transcribed by Carol Tornquist, popular Christian music publisher, this work represents a compilation of her own chords used as a church pianist, and requested by many other church musicians who have heard her unique arrangements. Each song contains the piano part, lyrics and the chord symbols. With so many churches using some form of "blended worship" (contemporary with traditional), this book should provide an excellent resource for "updating" some of the treasured hymns while maintaining the integrity of these rich and timeless melodies.
