| Description |
| John Thompson has created a method book that approaches playing the piano in a more "modern" way. The series focuses on musicality early on. While the students are learning the notes, rhythms, and patterns, they are also learning about phrasing, musical form, tempo, shading, and other musical style skills. This series provides a clear and complete foundation in the study of the piano that enables the student to think and feel musically. "The Second Grade Book" picks up where the last book left off. The selections in this book will gradually extend the five-finger position. The thumbs will learn the pass through, pedals are explained, more scales are covered, and much more. It is an exciting method that keeps the focus on musicality and thinking and feeling musically. "John Thompson's Modern Course For The Piano, The Second Grade Book" weighs 11.84 oz. |
