While the students are learning the notes, rhythms, and patterns, they are also learning about phrasing, musical form, tempo, shading, and other musical style skills. This series provides a clear and complete foundation in the study of the piano that enables the student to think and feel musically. "The First Grade Book" covers all the basics for the beginning student. They will learn about phrases, patterns, finger positions, chords, scales, and much more. To help keep the focus on musicality, many of the pieces in this book are written in the five-finger position. This will also help with transposing the works down the road. When you select one of these categories, you will be taken to a page that contains a list of items within that category. By clicking on the name of a product, you will be given all of the information specific to that item. You will also be given the option of adding that item to your shopping cart. After you have submitted this information, your order will be securely routed to our warehouse where it will be filled.
