| Description |
| John Thompson has created a method book that approaches playing the piano in a more "modern" way. This supplementary piano course with "Melody All The Way" is designed to be used interchangeably with or as a supplement to the first half of "The Modern Course For The Piano". The music in the book is based exclusively on well known airs. This has an advantage for the student giving him the thrill of performing familiar music. The series focuses on musicality early on. While the students are learning the notes, rhythms, and patterns, they are also learning about phrasing, musical form, tempo, shading, and other musical style skills. This series provides a clear and complete foundation in the study of the piano that enables the student to think and feel musically. "John Thompson's Supplementary Piano Course With Melody All The Way, Book 2B" weighs 5.44 oz. |
