Description
You might not recognize Harold Arlen's name, but you will be sure to recognize his songs. He has collaborated with some of the best known lyricists ever, including Johnny Mercer, Ira Gershwin, and E.Y. Harburg. The latter partnership brought us the unforgettable "Ding-Dong! The Witch Is Dead", "Over The Rainbow", and other favorites from "The Wizard Of Oz". This book includes photographs, a biography, a listing of Arlen's compositions, and more of his greatest works including "Stormy Weather", "It's Only A Paper Moon", "Come Rain Or Come Shine". and "That Old Black Magic".
