Description
Much of the best - known music ever composed came from the Classical Period, roughly from the second half of the 18th and early 19th centuries. This book contains many selections from this period, with works by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven and their contemporaries. Dennis Agay selected and edited the works for this volume. Along with the selections, you will appreciate the discussion of the Classical Period, as well as the glossary of terms and the biographical sketches of the composers. This is a great book that belongs in every collection. "The Classical Period" weighs 26.88 oz.
